Integrated materials management system definition
Integrated materials management system means a system of policy and regulatory require- ments designed to work together in a series of com- plementary actions to direct the conduct of pro- ducers, consumers, and waste handlers so that each one anticipates the conduct of the other and acts to minimize waste generation, maximize the recovery of resources where economically viable, and dispose of the rest by means that protect human health and the environment.
