Insured Profession definition

Insured Profession or “Insured Practice” means the profession described in the “Declaration Page(s)”, performed in accordance with the legislation regulating the practice of such profession.
Insured Profession means the rendering of professional services in conducting the profession designated in the Schedule (description of profession) but does not include the rendering of any service not customarily or regularly rendered in the conduct of such profession The insured profession shall not include the designing, testing, manufacturing, producing, assembling, selling, supplying, maintaining or repairing of any product by an Insured.

  • The "Insured" shall take all reasonable steps to minimize the "Legal Expenses" being incurred and/or the cost of "Legal Consultation", and/or the costs of retaining any “Expert Witness” consistent with maintaining the "Insured’s” status in the "Insured Profession" and the "Insured’s” right to engage in his or her "Insured Practice".

  • The provision of the Insured Profession is outside of the Territorial Limits both shown in the Schedule.

  • Breach of Professional Confidentiality ExtensionThe Insurers will extend cover to indemnify an Insured person for Claims made against them during the Period of Insurance in respect of a breach of confidence in connection with the Insured Profession stated in the Schedule.

  • Errors & Omissions ExtensionThe Insurers will extend cover to indemnify an Insured person for Claims made against them during the Period of Insurance arising out of financial loss to third parties caused by any negligent act, error or omission committed by the Insured person in the course of the Insured Profession stated in the Schedule.Insurers shall not be liable for:i.

  • By anyone who has not less than five years’ experience in the Insured Profession; or by anyone who is aged not less than 21 years, and has not less than two years supervised experience in the Insured Profession with the Insured, and is pursuing professional qualification in accordance with (a)(i), however, such reports or valuations being approved by a (a)(i).

  • The Insured shall take all reasonable steps to minimize the Legal Expenses being incurred and/or the cost of Legal Consultation, and/or the costs of retaining any Expert Witness consistent with maintaining the Insured’s status in the Insured Profession and the Insured’s right to engage in his or her Insured Practice.Except as otherwise provided in this endorsement all terms and conditions of this policy shall remain unchanged.

  • Registered Professional means a professional registered or licensed by and in the State of Florida and practicing under Chapter 471, 472, 481, or 492, F.S.

  • Qualified professional means a person with experience and training in the pertinent scientific discipline, and who is a qualified scientific expert with expertise appropriate for the relevant critical area subject in accordance with WAC 365-195-905(4).   • regulated profession means a regulated profession as defined in Article 3(1)(a) of Directive 2005/36/EC.

  • Health professional means an individual licensed or otherwise authorized to engage in a health profession under article 15 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.16101 to 333.18838, and whose scope of practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with a substance use disorder.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer means a person acceptable to Buyer in its reasonable judgment who (a) is licensed to practice engineering in California, (b) has training and experience in the power industry specific to the technology of the Project, (c) has no economic relationship, association, or nexus with Seller or Buyer, other than to meet the obligations of Seller pursuant to this Agreement, (d) is not a representative of a consultant, engineer, contractor, designer or other individual involved in the development of the Project or of a manufacturer or supplier of any equipment installed at the Project, and (e) is licensed in an appropriate engineering discipline for the required certification being made.

  • Paraprofessional means a person who does not have an academic degree related to the scope of treatment or support services being provided but performs prescribed functions under the general supervision of that discipline.

  • Licensed health care professional means a person who possesses a professional medical license that is valid in Oregon. Examples include, but are not limited to, a registered nurse (RN), nurse practitioner (NP), licensed practical nurse (LPN), medical doctor (MD), osteopathic physician (DO), respiratory therapist (RT), physical therapist (PT), physician assistant (PA), or occupational therapist (OT).

  • Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) means a qualified person who evaluates employees who have violated a DOT drug and alcohol regulation and makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.

  • Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice means the current standards of the appraisal profession, developed for appraisers and users of appraisal services by the Appraisal Standards Board of the Appraisal Foundation.

  • Professional Misconduct means conduct inconsistent with the Act, this By-law, the Rules of Professional Conduct or the Standards and Guidelines of Practice that poses or may pose a risk of harm or loss to any person;

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

  • Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.

  • Allied Health Professional means a person registered as an allied health professional with the Health Professions Council;

  • continuing professional development means the continuing professional development contemplated in section 32;

  • Licensed site remediation professional means an individual
