Insured Driver definition

Insured Driver means the Insured or any other person who is driving on the Insured’s order or with his permission provided that the Insured or the person driving holds a licence to drive the Motor Car or has held and is not disqualified from holding or obtaining such a licence. The term “licence” means a licence or other permit required under the laws or regulations or by the licensing authority of the Geographical Area.

Examples of Insured Driver in a sentence

  • Student, or parent if student is under 19, must be Primary Insured Driver.

  • We shall be entitled to the absolute conduct, control and settlement of all proceedings arising out of or in connection with claims in Your name or the name of any Insured Driver.

  • In the event of a claim the Insured Driver must present both the Rental Agreement and a medical certificate confirming the advice of the physician.

  • We may at Our own expense take proceedings in Your name or the name of the Insured Driver to recover compensation from any third party in respect of any indemnity provided under this insurance and any amounts so recovered shall belong to Us.   • In the event of there being no Insured Driver as named on the Rental Agreement to return the Rental Vehicle to the Car Rental Company or Agency following an accident or illness for which hospitalisation takes place, this extension will indemnify You up to but not exceeding £300 to pay for drop off charges incurred through the Car Rental Company or Agency.Cover is subject to evidence of hospitalisation being provided.

  • If an accident occurs and the Insured Driver was driving in an unsafe manner, the cover Weprovide for that accident is limited to Section 1 Liability to Others: Third Party Cover.

  • Family CoverThis extends the cover provided by the policy to immediate family members named on the policy schedule,and enables them to rent vehicles independently without the lead named Insured Driver accompanying them.

  • We will insure You against everything (except as hereinafter excluded) You legally have to pay to people who claim for damages, costs and expenses if they arise from a claim caused by an accident while an Insured Driver is driving, loading or unloading (directly from an Insured Vehicle) or in charge of the Insured Vehicle, if an Insured Driver kills or injures other people.

  • If the Insured or the Insured Driver or any Passenger of any Vehicle shall in direct connection with such Vehicle in the Territory, sustain any bodily injury by violent, accidental external and visible means the Company will pay to the Insured the medical expenses in connection with such injury up to the sum of €130 in respect of each person injured.

  • An accident which results in an Insured Driver being charged or convicted of an offence where a reading, test or sample of alcohol or drugs exceeds the legal limit, no cover under this Policy applies.

Related to Insured Driver

  • Insured Loss means damage or destruction to the Premises, other than Lessee-Owned Alterations and Utility Installations and Trade Fixtures, which was caused by an event required to be covered by the insurance described in Paragraph 8.3(a) irrespective of any deductible amounts or coverage limits involved.

  • Insured Expenses Expenses covered by an Insurance Policy or any other insurance policy with respect to the Mortgage Loans.

  • Special Hazard Coverage The Special Hazard Coverage on the most recent anniversary of the Cut-Off Date (calculated in accordance with the second sentence of this paragraph) or, if prior to the first such anniversary, $4,725,230, in each case reduced by Special Hazard Losses allocated to the Certificates since the most recent anniversary of the Cut-Off Date (or, if prior to the first such anniversary, since the Cut-Off Date). On each anniversary of the Cut-Off Date, the Special Hazard Coverage shall be reduced, but not increased, to an amount equal to the lesser of (1) the greatest of (a) the aggregate principal balance of the Mortgage Loans located in the single California zip code area containing the largest aggregate principal balance of Mortgage Loans, (b) 1.0% of the aggregate unpaid principal balance of the Mortgage Loans and (c) twice the unpaid principal balance of the largest single Mortgage Loan, in each case calculated as of the Due Date in the immediately preceding month, and (2) $4,725,230, as reduced by the Special Hazard Losses allocated to the Certificates since the Cut-Off Date. The Special Hazard Coverage may be reduced upon written confirmation from the Rating Agencies that such reduction will not adversely affect the then current ratings assigned to the Certificates by the Rating Agencies.

  • Patient cost means the cost of a medically necessary health care service that is incurred as a result

  • Insureds Premises Not An "Insured Location" "Bodily injury" or "property damage" arising out of a premises:

  • Insurance Coverage Contractor shall, at Contractor’s sole expense, procure, maintain and keep in force for the duration of this Contract the following insurance conforming to the minimum requirements specified below. Unless specified herein or otherwise agreed to by the City, the required insurance shall be in effect prior to the commencement of work by Contractor and shall continue in force as appropriate until the latter of:

  • Underinsured motor vehicle means a land motor vehicle or trailer of any type to which a bodily injury liability bond or policy applies at the time of the accident but its limit for bodily injury liability is either:

  • Standard Hazard Insurance Policy means a fire and casualty extended coverage insurance policy in such amount and with such coverage as required by this Agreement.

  • Sum Insured means the sum as specified in the Schedule to this Policy against the name of Insured / each Insured Person, which sum represents the Company's maximum liability for any or all claims under this Policy during the Policy period for the respective benefit(s) against which the sum is mentioned in the Schedule to this Policy.

  • Self-insured retention means the individual own risk employer's or group self-insurance association's retained amount of risk under a specific excess insurance policy, before the liability is transferred to an insurance carrier.

  • Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA means the land in the floodplain subject to a one percent (1%) or greater chance of being flooded in any given year, as determined in Article 3, Section B of this ordinance.

  • Hazard Insurance Policy means, with respect to each Contract, the policy of fire and extended coverage insurance (and federal flood insurance, if the Manufactured Home is secured by an FHA/VA Contract and such Manufactured Home is located in a federally designated special flood area) required to be maintained for the related Manufactured Home, as provided in Section 5.09, and which, as provided in said Section 5.09, may be a blanket mortgage impairment policy maintained by the Servicer in accordance with the terms and conditions of said Section 5.09.

  • Insurance Costs means the sums described in paragraph 1.1 of Part 5 of the Schedule;

  • Insured Amount As defined in the Policy.

  • Full Replacement Cost as used herein shall mean the actual replacement cost of the Leased Property requiring replacement from time to time including an increased cost of construction endorsement, if available, and the cost of debris removal. In the event either party believes that full replacement cost (the then-replacement cost less such exclusions) has increased or decreased at any time during the Lease Term, it shall have the right to have such full replacement cost re-determined.

  • Hazard Insurance A fire and casualty extended coverage insurance policy insuring against loss or damage from fire and other perils covered within the scope of standard extended hazard coverage naming the Servicer, its successors and assigns, as a mortgagee under a standard mortgagee clause, together with all riders and endorsements thereto.

  • FHA Insurance The contractual obligation of FHA respecting the insurance of an FHA Loan pursuant to the National Housing Act, as amended.

  • Insurance means comprehensive insurance of the vehicle(s)/equipment and shall include insurance of the crew.

  • Insured Premises means the place named in the Schedule.

  • Area of special flood hazard means the land in the flood plain within a community subject to a one percent or greater chance of flooding in any given year.

  • Coverage means the types of persons to be eligible as the beneficiaries of the Scheme to health services provided under the Scheme, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations.

  • Collision means the upset of "your covered auto" or a "non-owned auto" or their impact with another vehicle or object. Loss caused by the following is considered other than "collision":
