Insurance Data definition

Insurance Data means the personal data and other information of the User ’s customers, claimants and applicants provided by each of the Users to the System Sub- contractor for inclusion in the Database, in relation to which the System Sub-contractor is acting on behalf of II, and further disclosed by the System Sub-contractor to other Users , with the explicit permission of each of the relevant User’s, solely for the Legitimate Purpose;

  • The parties further agree to comply with applicable state and federal cybersecurity laws and regulations, including but not limited to 23 NYCRR Part 500 as issued by the New York Department of Financial Services (“NY Cybersecurity Regulation”) and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Insurance Data Security Model Law as adopted by the individual states (collectively, the “Cybersecurity Laws”).

  • Personal Information includes the following categories of information: (1) Contact Data (such as your email address, phone number and login password); (2) Demographic Data (such as your gender, your date of birth and your zip code); (3) Insurance Data (such as your insurance carrier and insurance plan); and (4) Medical Data (such as your previous doctors and dentists ("Providers") visited, your reason for visit and your date of visit, and other medical information you choose to share with us).

  • A number of states have enacted the Insurance Data Security Model Law or similar laws, and we expect more states to follow.

  • Agent shall comply with such laws and regulations to the extent applicable to it, including but not limited to: the New York State Department of Financial Services Cybersecurity Requirements for Financial Services Companies Regulations, codified at 23 NYCRR 500 et seq.; and the National Association of Insurance Commissioner’s (NAIC’s) Insurance Data Security Model Law as adopted by individual states.

  • In 2017, the NAIC adopted the Insurance Data Security Model Law, which established standards for data security and for the investigation and notification of insurance commissioners of cybersecurity events involving unauthorized access to, or the misuse of, certain nonpublic information.

  • Each party further represents that it has in place, and agrees that it will maintain, information security policies and procedures for protecting nonpublic personal customer information adequate to conform to applicable legal requirements, including, but not limited to the Iowa Insurance Data Security Act.

  • Vendor agrees to sign and return the Indemnification agreement (attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference): Insurance Data Services 151 N.

  • All of the insurance shall be in the name of Licensee and shall further provide that the policies shall not be cancelled or materially changed without at least thirty (30) days' prior written notice to Sears Certificate Management Services, c/o Insurance Data Services, ▇.▇.
