Instantiation definition

Instantiation means the process of implementing a representation of the IP-Core within an integrated circuit or part of an integrated circuit. The type of integrated circuit in which the models can be instantiated is open and not restricted to any particular technology.
Instantiation means that the time point sequence corresponds to the time period, analogous to SBVR’s “ meaning corresponds to thing”. Each time point sequence has a first time point, a last time point (the final time point of the time point sequence), and a duration (the length of the time period). For example, the time point sequence from “ day 2” to “ day 6” has a first time point of “ day 2”, a last time point of “ day 6”, and a duration of “ 5 days”.
Instantiation means the particular combination of attributes with respect to the licensed Software as set forth in an Order, including: (i) the Customer Application the Software may be incorporated into; and (ii) the Device and OS that the Software may be deployed on.

  • Instantiation We choose to instantiate the linear-only encryption scheme Σ with a variant of the Paillier cryptosystem [35] similarly to Gennaro et al.

More Definitions of Instantiation

Instantiation means the embodiment or incorporation of the Core ------------- in one instance in a semiconductor device or other product. If the Core is embodied or incorporated in a semiconductor device or other product in more than one instance, each time the Core is embodied or incorporated in such semiconductor device or other product will be considered a separate Instantiation.
Instantiation is the process of implementing a representation of the synthesizable HDL IP-Cores within an integrated circuit or part of an integrated circuit. It is understood that an integrated circuit can be elaborated with any technology: Field Programmable Gate Array, Gate Array, Cell-based or Full-custom. An integrated circuit may be qualified as logic integrated circuit (or digital), analogue, or mixed mode, according to the nature of signals it processes.
