Initial screen definition

Initial screen means laboratory procedures performed on the first acceptable specimen of blood to detect the pres- ence of metabolic disorder and/or a hemoglobinopathy.
Initial screen means a breathalyzer or comparable test for the presence of alcohol and the emit (enzyme multiplied immunoassary technique) or comparable test for determining the presence of drug residues in urine.

  • Additional SDU Study means a deliverability study that a Developer may elect to pursue as that term is defined in OATT Section 25 (OATT Attachment S).

  • Healing arts screening means the testing of human beings using x-ray machines for the detection or evaluation of health indications when such tests are not specifically and individually ordered by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts legally authorized to prescribe such x-ray tests for the purpose of diagnosis or treatment.

  • SOFR IndexStart means the SOFR Index value on the day which is two U.S. Government Securities Business Days preceding the first date of the relevant Interest Period (an "Index Determination Date"); and

  • Alcohol Screening Device (ASD) means a breath or saliva device, other than an Evidential Breath Testing Device (EBT), that is approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and placed on its Conforming Products List for such devices.

  • HCD means the California Department of Housing and Community Development.
