Initial Mailing definition

Initial Mailing means the first non-discriminatory mailing to a voter, by the county clerk or SOS, which is returned as undeliverable by the postal service.

  • If the Class Notice Documents mailed and e-mailed to a Class Member are returned within thirty (30) days of the Initial Mailing, with a forwarding address provided by email or the Postal Service, the Class Notice Documents will be re-mailed or emailed, within ten (10) days, to the forwarding address provided, and the completed Class Notice Documents are then due within ninety (90) days of mailing of the original notice.
