Initial Decision Maker definition

Initial Decision Maker means the Purchasing Agent appointed pursuant to the provisions of the “State Purchases Act,” R.I. Gen. Laws § 37-2-1 et seq., or his or her designee, who will serve as the initial decision maker in accordance with the provisions of the State Purchases Act, State of Rhode Island Procurement Regulations.
Initial Decision Maker is the person rendered to make initial decisions on Claims and shall be the Construction Manager if a CMA Agreement is entered into or the Architect if a General Contact Agreement, CMR Agreement or DB Agreement is entered into.
Initial Decision Maker means the person with administrative authority that made the initial decision that is the subject of the grievance;

  • The Architect will prepare Change Orders and issue Certificates for Payment in accordance with the decisions of the Initial Decision Maker.

  • Decision-maker means a person who makes a determination regarding responsibility after the investigation has concluded. The Decision-maker cannot be the same person as the Title IX Coordinator, the Investigator, or the Appellate Decision-maker.

  • Final Decision means a final action of the commission determining the legal rights, duties, or privileges of any person. “Final decision” does not include preliminary, procedural, or intermediate actions by the commission, actions regulating the internal administration of the commission, or actions of the commission to enter into or refrain from entering into contracts or agreements with vendors to provide goods or services to the commission.

  • Appellate Decision-maker means a person who considers and decides appeals of determinations regarding responsibility and dismissals of formal complaints.   • Major Decision Reporting Package With respect to any Major Decision, (a) a written report prepared by the Special Servicer describing in reasonable detail (i) the background and circumstances requiring action of the Special Servicer, (ii) the proposed course of action recommended, and (iii) information regarding any direct or indirect conflict of interest in the subject action, and (b) all information in the Special Servicer’s possession that is reasonably requested by the party receiving such Major Decision Reporting Package in order for such party to exercise any consultation or consent rights available to such party under this Agreement.

  • Engineer’s Representative means the official in the civil/ electrical engineering department who is authorized to be in-charge of the work to which these presents relate. It shall include any other official nominated to attend to the supervision of day to day execution of the work to which this CONTRACT relates.

  • Technical Advisory Committee means the external committee to be established and appointed by the Steering Committee to provide technical input for decisions to be taken by the Steering Committee; and
