Informed dissent definition

Informed dissent means the written refusal by an infant’s parent or guardian to participate in newborn screening as defined in this rule.

  • Informed decision means a decision by a qualified patient to request and obtain a prescription for medication that the qualified patient may self-administer to end the qualified patient's life in a humane and dignified manner that is based on an appreciation of the relevant facts and that is made after being fully informed by the attending physician of:

  • Notice of Dissent means a notice of dissent duly and validly given by a registered holder of Aphria Shares exercising Dissent Rights as contemplated in the Interim Order and as described in Article 4;

  • Hearing aid means an instrument or device designed for regular and constant use in or proximate to the human ear and represented as aiding or improving defective human hearing.

  • Dissenter means a shareholder who, being entitled to do so, sends written notice of dissent when and as required by section 242;

  • Dissent Rights means the rights of dissent in respect of the Arrangement described in the Plan of Arrangement;
