Informal support means a person or resource that is available to provide assistance without home and community program funding. The person or resource providing the infor- mal support must be age 18 or older. Examples of informal supports include but are not limited to: family members, friends, neighbors, school, childcare, after school activities, adult day health, church or community programs.
