Indirect evidence definition

Indirect evidence means any statement made outside the presence of the child protective services worker and relayed to the child protective services worker as proof of the contents of the statement.
Indirect evidence or "circumstantial evidence" means evidence which only tends to establish the issue by proof of various facts, sustaining by their consistency the hypothesis claimed.
