Indigents definition

Indigents. – means an owner /occupier of a property as defined in the qualification for concessions. Lacking the necessities of life such as sufficient water, basic sanitation, refuse removal, environmental health, basic energy, health care, housing, food and clothing. This is a household which is not financially capable of paying for the delivery of Basic Services – including poor households.
Indigents means persons registered as indigent persons in term of the Credit control and Debt Collecting By-Laws of the Council
Indigents means owners and/or occupiers of residential property where the combined municipal value of the land and buildings or the vacant land value of such property is equal to, or less than, the values determined by resolution of the Council;

Indigents means households with income below a level defined by the Borrower from time to time through socio-economic surveys or means tests in accordance with the provisions of the National Health Insurance Act of 1995, February 14, 1995 (R.A.7875) as amended by R.A.9241, and “Indigent” means any of the “Indigents”.
