Indigent Care Program. Comprised of seven Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) healthcare services and teaching centers geographically dispersed throughout Arkansas. These facilities provide healthcare for patients regardless of ability to pay and serve as training sites for students in the fields of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and various allied professions.
