Index Total Return definition

Index Total Return means the total return of the Standard & Poor’s 500 Stock Index, which will be calculated by dividing (i) the Closing Average Index Value by (ii) the Opening Average Index Value.
Index Total Return means the total return of the Standard & Poor’s 500 Stock Index, which will be calculated by dividing (i) the ClosingAverage Index Value by (ii) the Opening Average Index Value.

  • The fund is designed to achieve positive total return relative to the performance of the Bloomberg Commodity Index Total Return (“BCOM Index”).

  • Notwithstanding anything in the Plan to the contrary, in the event of a Corporate Transaction during the Full Measurement Period, the Final Measurement Period shall be deemed to end upon the trading day immediately preceding the consummation of the Corporate Transaction for purposes of determining the Company Total Stockholder Return and the Benchmark Index Total Return, and the number of MSUs that are Earned MSUs will be determined in accordance with Section 2 of the Agreement.

  • The difference over the Performance Period, measured in percentage points, between the Company’s Total Stockholder Return and the Benchmark Index Total Return, both determined in accordance with this Award Agreement.

  • Total Return means the annual compounded rate of return for an investment fund for a period that would equate the initial value to the redeemable value at the end of the period, expressed as a percentage, and determined by applying the following formula:

  • Index Start Value means 1,000 index points and represents the Index Closing Value on Index Calculation Day T=0 for the purposes of calculating the index in accordance with C).
