Incremental Energy definition

Incremental Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 4.4.
Incremental Energy means WSPP Schedule C Firm Energy sourced in the WECC outside of the state of California, which was not in the portfolio of Buyer prior to the Effective Date of this Confirmation, and delivered to a delivery point inside California during the same calendar year in which the Product was produced by the Project(s) as documented by the NERC E-Tags containing the Project(s)’ RPS IDs and scheduled according to the scheduling protocols set forth in this Confirmation. Incremental Energy may not be sourced from a Specified Source of Power that is a coal-fired resource.
Incremental Energy means Electric Energy generated through limited over-firing of the Units (as installed as of the Commercial Operations Date). Buyer may Dispatch Incremental Energy if and to the extent available in an amount of up to 250 hours per Contract Year in accordance with this Section 4.4, if and to the extent that Seller is not generating Incremental Energy to offset a Forced Derating. Buyer shall not be obligated to purchase Incremental Energy at the Incremental Energy Rate to the extent generated by Seller to offset a Forced Derating.

Examples of Incremental Energy in a sentence

  • The Energy and Incremental Energy, as applicable, supplied in connection with any Renewable Energy shall be scheduled in compliance with applicable California RPS requirements for such Product.

  • Buyer shall not be obligated to purchase Incremental Energy at the Incremental Energy Rate to the extent generated by Seller to offset a Forced Derating.

  • This Section 23.4.7 also specifies the monitoring applicable and the mitigation measures that may be applicable to a Market Party with submitted Bids in the real-time market that are less than the Incremental Energy Bids made in the Day-Ahead Market (or mitigated Day-Ahead Incremental Energy Bids where appropriate), for one or more of its Generators that has been scheduled in the Day-Ahead Market to withdraw Energy.

  • The available Power supply for curtailment will not include any amount of capacity or energy that is sold as an ancillary services product or being otherwise managed to generate Incremental Energy Value (as defined below).

  • A selling Company shall receive from a purchasing Company one hundred and ten percent (110%) of the selling Company's Incremental Energy Cost for Pool Energy sold.


More Definitions of Incremental Energy

Incremental Energy or "IE" means that energy consumed by the submerged arc furnaces. These loads are defined as electrothermal loads and may be exempt by the State of Alabama Department of Revenue from certain state utility taxes.

Incremental Energy has the meaning given to such term in Section 1.2 of Schedule “A”. “Incremental Energy Price” has the meaning given to such term in Section 3.8 of Schedule “A”. “Indemnified Party” has the meaning given to such term in Section 15.1.
Incremental Energy. The amount of energy (kwh) that would be necessary to supply the Customer’s load in excess of the Firm Energy calculated using the LFS methodology. The Authority will calculate the value of Incremental Energy using the NYISO Day-Ahead Market and/or the Real-Time Market LBMP prices at the applicable NYISO Zone in which the Customer receives deliveries. All costs associated with the provision of Incremental Energy will be passed through to Customer. Incremental UCAP: Capacity (kW) that is necessary to meet the Customer’s UCAP requirement in excess of the Contract Demand. The Authority will supply Customer’s NYISO-required Incremental UCAP, if any, and use the Portfolio Weighted Average Price to assess Incremental UCAP charges. All Incremental UCAP charges will be passed through to the Customer. Incremental UCAP charges only apply when a Customer’s Capacity Tag inclusive of the NYISO installed reserve margin is in excess of the Contract Demand.
