Increase in Hours definition

Increase in Hours. An increase in hours in the same classification shall not be deemed a transfer or promotion for the purpose of this article.
Increase in Hours. A permanent classified incumbent shall have first 8 consideration for any increase in hours in his/her established part-time position. If the 9 permanent part-time classified incumbent declines such additional hours, said hours shall be 10 considered a new position. First consideration in filling the position shall be given to permanent 11 classified Employees currently serving in the District.

  • Increase in Hours: When additional hours are assigned to a part-time position on a regular basis, the assignment shall be offered to all of the unit members in the appropriate class on a reasonable basis within the affected operating unit as determined by the District.

  • Additional work that requires, or results in, a permanent increase of hours assigned to a route shall be offered in accordance with Article 12, Section N., Increase in Hours.

  • Any driver whose combined hours are increased or decreased during the remainder of the school year shall be subject to Articles 17 (Layoffs and Recalls) and 16.12 (Increase in Hours).

  • Increase in Hours If the Governing Board determines that additional hours of employment are to be created on a regular basis, interested part-time bargaining unit members are encouraged to apply.

  • Increase Amount is defined in Section 2.3(a).

  • Increase Date has the meaning specified in Section 2.18(a).

  • Increase Notice has the meaning specified in Section 2.05(c)(ii).

  • Available Increase Amount means, as of any date of determination, an amount equal to the result of (a) $15,000,000, minus (b) the aggregate principal amount of Increases to the Revolver Commitments previously made pursuant to Section 2.14 of this Agreement.
