Incidental Utility Work definition

Incidental Utility Work means the following Work necessary for the construction of the Project, including:
Incidental Utility Work means all Work associated with (a) Service Line Relocations, (b) Utility Appurtenance Adjustments, (c) purchases and installations of Conduits, (d) Protections in Place, (e) street and parkway modification and restoration, including resurfacing and restriping of streets (including sidewalks), landscape restoration, and relocation of street lights and traffic signals made necessary by Utility Work (whether performed by Design-Builder or by Utility Owners), (f) potholing, electronic detection and/or surveying to determine Utility locations, (g) design, construction and as-built surveys, (h) obtaining permits required for Utility Work, and (i) abandonment of Utilities, including removal and disposal of abandoned Utilities.
Incidental Utility Work means all of the following Work necessary for the construction of the Project:

Examples of Incidental Utility Work in a sentence

  • Cost of Relocation means the entire amount to be paid for Utility Work that is properly attributable to the Relocation after deducting from that amount the cost of any Incidental Utility Work, Betterments, Excluded Environmental Work, Depreciation Value, and/or Salvage Value, as applicable.

  • Regardless of which party is responsible for performing the Utility Work, the Contractor will be solely responsible for performing any Incidental Utility Work.

  • Incidental Utility Work includes all In-Place/Out-of-Service Work and Protection In-Place of Facilities.

  • Each Party shall contractually require its Contractors to coordinate and cooperate with the other Party and with other Contractors involved in Utility Work and Incidental Utility Work.

  • The Parties each agree to coordinate and cooperate with one another and with their respective Contractors in order to ensure that Utility Work, Incidental Utility Work, and any Excluded Environmental Work are performed promptly, and in close coordination with the Project implementation.

  • The Parties shall at all times in the performance of Utility Work, Incidental Utility Work and Excluded Environmental Work strictly adhere to, and comply with, all other applicable federal and state and local laws and their implementing regulations as each currently exists and may hereafter be amended.

  • Unless otherwise requested by the Utility Owner, no Task Orders are required, nor will Task Orders be issued, for Incidental Utility Work, and Contractor’s responsibility for the same shall not be contingent upon the issuance of a Task Order.

  • The Authority has entered or intends to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with each Third Party known to be impacted by the Project, other than Excluded Third Parties; provided however, that the Authority may, but is not required to, enter into Cooperative Agreements with Included Third Parties for which only Incidental Utility Work is anticipated.

  • Contractor shall not be entitled to an adjustment for increased costs of the Work resulting from, or for any extension of time for delays associated with, the performance of Incidental Utility Work by Contractor or any Utility Owner.

  • No increase or decrease in the Contract Price shall be made pursuant to this Section 49.1.10 on account of any change in the allocation of responsibility for Incidental Utility Work.


More Definitions of Incidental Utility Work

Incidental Utility Work means tasks performed by any Party that (i) are duplicative of Utility Work undertaken by the Designing or Constructing Party’s Contractors (such as design review where the Designing Party’s Contractor has created the design), including without limitation, each of the items referenced in (ii); or (ii) are staff or consultant time expended on: exchange and review of documentation with respect to identifying Utilities or unidentified utilities; meetings, whether internal or with the other Party or other affected utility owners, jurisdictions, federal and state agencies, organizations or special districts or other affected third parties; procurement of and coordination with Contractors; coordination and interfacing of Owner’s Relocation schedule with the I-25 North Design Build Project design and construction schedules; cooperation with one another’s staff or Contractors or with other I-25 North Design Build Project stakeholders (including other affected utility owners, jurisdictions, federal and state agencies, organizations or special districts); preparation, negotiation and execution of Work Orders and Work Order exhibits; review of legal descriptions; review and acceptance of Relocation Plans; and construction inspection and acceptance. Neither Party shall be reimbursed for costs incurred or time expended in performing Incidental Utility Work.

Related to Incidental Utility Work

  • Electrical work means the installation, alteration, reconstruction, or repair of electrical wiring.

  • Installation Work means the construction and installation of the System and the Start-up, testing and acceptance (but not the operation and maintenance) thereof; all performed by or for the Power Producer at the Premises.

  • Interconnecting Utility means the utility (which may or may not be Buyer or an Affiliate of Buyer) providing interconnection service for the Facility to the Transmission System of that utility.

  • tidal work means so much of any work authorised by this Order as is on, under or over tidal waters or tidal lands below the level of high water;

  • Company Work means all duties, responsibilities, and obligations to be performed by Company as contemplated by Section 3.1 of this Agreement.
