Incidental Personal Use definition

Incidental Personal Use or “De Minimis Use” means an occasional or infrequent personal use with little or no cost to the City and which, considering its value and the frequency with which it is used, is so small as to make accounting for it unreasonable or impractical. In determining whether the use is De Minimis, the frequency and the value shall always be considered.
Incidental Personal Use means activities performed on College information technology resources that are not related to college business.

Such personal use must comply with this policy and all other applicable policies, procedures and rules. Supervision and the safety of students while using the District’s technology and/or internet is important. Staff that allow technology/internet use by students are responsible to supervise and monitor student use.
