Incentive Days definition

Incentive Days that are provided for in the CBA. Once the prescribed threshold of release days has been reached, the employee may commit to participation in a given activity (discretionary), with the expectation that participants will not be denied the equivalency of their daily planning period. A full day activity will either not start earlier than 9:10am or not end later than 2:00pm. If a discretionary activity is scheduled for less than a full day, the facilitating party will be accountable for a schedule that accounts for 50 minutes of plan time for the participants on that day. If participants are in opposition with the proposed schedule, they have the choice of participating without accounting for a planning time, or not participating.

Examples of Incentive Days in a sentence

  • Section 2 Mentor teachers will choose between being paid an annual stipend of one (1%) percent of the BA Base for each mentee teacher assigned to them for the school year (prorated for less than a full school year) or the mentor teacher will be allowed two (2) Mentor Incentive Days for each assigned mentee teacher each school year (not to exceed four days per year).

  • The donee has exhausted all of his/her accrued leave including Vacation, Personal Leave, K-Days (while applicable) and Medical Incentive Days.

  • Wellness Incentive Days will be approved in the same manner as compensatory, vacation and personal absence days.

  • Any employee who successfully completes a course of study approved by the CCE shall receive two Education Incentive Days (EID’s).

  • Following any full payroll calendar year period that a bargaining unit employee uses no sick leave, the employee will be allowed to convert two days of sick leave to Sick Leave Incentive Days or the cash equivalent based upon the employee's current base hourly rate of pay.

  • The Incentive Days earned by an employee will be awarded on the following fiscal year and used in the same manner as compensation days awarded in lieu of extra pay for working a paid Holiday.
