In-vessel definition

In-vessel in relation to composting, means any composting method where composting materials are contained in a closed reactor or vessel:
In-vessel means a method of composting where solid wastes are placed in an enclosed or partly enclosed unit and managed to enable composting.
In-vessel means composting which is conducted entirely within a fuly enclosed container, with no opening having a dimension greater than ¼ inch in any direction.
