Improper Installation. The oor must be installed according to Shaw’s installation guidelines. Detailed installation instructions are included in cartons of Shaw hardwood ooring. Damage caused by improper storage, handling, or installation methods is not covered by these warranties. Improper preparation of, or de ciencies in, the sub oor/ oor joist assembly, including but not limited to excessive oor de ection, uneven or irregular sub oor surface (particularly at joints) or voids in the sub oor, are not covered under these warranties. Check to be certain that the sub oor is within structural and manufacturing requirements.
Improper Installation. Mohawk Wood Floors must be installed in strict accordance with Mohawk’s written installation instructions. Improper installation done in a way that is contrary to ▇▇▇▇▇▇’s written installation instructions can cause problems with a Mohawk Wood Floor. Mohawk’s limited warranties do not cover damage or defects caused by improper installation. IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR INADEQUATE CARE: Your Mohawk floor requires maintenance. Mohawk Wood Floors must be maintained in accordance with Mohawk’s written maintenance instructions. These limited warranties do not cover damage or defects caused by improper maintenance or inadequate care.

  • It does not extend to damage caused by Consumer neglect, misuse, abuse, accidents, storms, abnormal weather conditions, freight, Improper Installation, or by any other fortuitous event caused by any other means whatsoever being out of Warrantor's direct control.

  • Improper Installation and Mismatched System: LHW will pay up to $250 per Plan to repair or replace a covered item that was improperly installed, modified, or repaired prior to the term of this contract.

  • water installation means the pipes and water fittings which are situated on any premises and ownership thereof vests in the owner thereof and used or intended to be used in connection with the use of water on such premises, and includes a pipe and water fitting situated outside the boundary of the premises, which either connects to the connection pipe relating to such premises or is otherwise laid with the permission of the municipality;

  • Military installation means: a base, camp, post, station, yard, center, homeport facility for any ship, or other activity under the jurisdiction of the Department of Defense, including any leased facility, which is located within any of the several States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, the Northern Marianas Islands and any other U.S. Territory. Such term does not include any facility used primarily for civil works, rivers and harbors projects, or flood control projects.

  • Utility Installation means carpeting, window coverings, air lines, power panels, electrical distribution systems, lighting fixtures, space heaters, air conditioning, plumbing, and fencing. Lessor may require that Lessee remove any or all of said alterations, improvements, additions or Utility Installations at the expiration of the term, and restore the Premises to their prior condition. Lessor may require Lessee to provide Lessor, at Lessee's sole cost and expense, a lien and completion bond in an amount equal to one and one-half times the estimated cost of such improvements, to insure Lessor against any liability for mechanic's and materialmen's liens and to insure completion of the work. Should Lessee make any alterations, improvements, additions or Utility Installations without the prior approval of Lessor, Lessor may require that Lessee remove any or all of the same.

  • Nuclear installation means (a) anything defined as a ‘Nuclear Installation’ in the Paris Convention (Convention on Third Party Liability in the Field of Nuclear Energy of 29th July 1960, as subsequently amended) or the Vienna Convention (Vienna Convention on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage); (b) any vessel or means of transport incorporating a nuclear reactor; or (c) any other facility or site containing a nuclear reactor or storing or handling any nuclear fuel or waste.
