Institutional Responsibilities means an investigator’s professional responsibilities on behalf of the University, which may include for example: activities such as research, research consultation, teaching, professional practice, University committee memberships, and service on panels such as Institutional Review Boards or data and safety monitoring boards.

Basic Conditions of Employment Act means the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, 1997 (Act No. 75 of 1997);
Financial responsibility means the ability to respond in damages for liability thereafter incurred
Scope of Services or “Scope of Work” means the work to be performed by the Proposer or Consultant as described in Section 2.0 of this RFP, as amended thereto.
Administrative and Audit Regulations means all applicable statutes, regulations, and other laws governing administration or audit of this Contract, which may include Title 2, Part 200, Code of Federal Regulations and Chapter 321 and Title 10, Subtitles D and F of the Texas Government Code.
Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation means the regulations in 49 CFR Parts 100-189.
City Chief Procurement Officer or “CCPO” shall mean the position delegated authority by the Mayor to coordinate and oversee the procurement activity of Mayoral agency staff, including the ACCOs.
State historic preservation officer or "officer" means the state historic preservation officer appointed by the governor under 16 U.S.C. 470a.
Chief Procurement Officer or "CPO" means the chief procurement officer of the City of Chicago or his or her designee.
Deputy Minister means the Deputy Minister of the Ministry.
Off-highway implement of husbandry means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.
Minister for the Environment means the Minister to whom the Governor has for the time being committed the administration of the EP Act;
Rehabilitation counseling services means services provided by qualified personnel in individual or group sessions that focus specifically on career development, employment preparation, achieving independence, and integration in the workplace and community of a student with a disability. The term also includes vocational rehabilitation services provided to a student with disabilities by vocational rehabilitation programs funded under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
Chief information officer or "CIO" means the Chief Information Officer appointed pursuant to
Disruption of the educational process means the interruption of classwork, the creation of disorder, or the invasion of the rights of a student or group of students.
Department of Health and Human Services means the Department of Health and Human Services
Data Protection Officer takes the meaning given in the UK GDPR;
Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)
Customer Responsibilities means the responsibilities of the Customer set out in paragraph 6.1 of the Order Form;
Accountant General means the officer of the National Treasury designated as the Accountant- General;
Corporate Social Responsibility means Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as defined in Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Companies Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014;
Responsibilities means the responsibilities delegated to BNY under the Rule as a Foreign Custody Manager with respect to each Specified Country and each Eligible Foreign Custodian selected by BNY, as such responsibilities are more fully described in Article III of this Agreement.
Official responsibility means administrative or operating authority, whether intermediate or final, to initiate, approve, disapprove or otherwise affect a procurement transaction, or any claim resulting therefrom.
