Impervious Setback definition
Impervious Setback means the setback area defined in Sec. 5 below.
Impervious surface means a surface that has been covered with a layer of material so that it is highly resistant to infiltration by water.
Impervious area means any surface that does not allow stormwater to infiltrate into the ground.
Pervious surface means an area that releases as runoff a small portion of the precipitation that falls on it. Lawns, gardens, parks, forests or other similar vegetated areas are examples of surfaces that typically are pervious.
Regulated impervious surface means any of the following, alone or in combination:
Setback means the right-angled distance from a lot line or street boundary to the nearest part of a main building on the lot.
