Immediate Discipline definition

Immediate Discipline. This article shall not operate as a bar to immediate suspension, demotion, reduction in pay, or dismissal where an employee's conduct or performance warrants such action and where such action is permissible under law.

Examples of Immediate Discipline in a sentence

  • In cases of Immediate Discipline the notification procedures shall be implemented as soon as practicable.

  • Unit members shall receive written notification of District intention to suspend without pay or dismiss prior to such District action in all cases other than those situations set forth under Immediate Discipline above.

  • Immediate Discipline - The Employer may immediately discipline any employee if the Employer, after considering the circumstances of each individual case, deems it necessary that prompt disciplinary action be administered.

  • Except in cases specified under Article 19.3 – Immediate Discipline, the District shall provide 24-hour prior notice of a right to representation to those employees facing a disciplinary meeting, or a meeting which could reasonably result in discipline.
