IME services definition

IME services means the performance of a medical examination or record review relating to a claim, preparation and proper delivery of a report as the result of such examination (in accordance with the requirements set forth in the WCL), and the provision of testimony related to such examination and report, as requested.

Examples of IME services in a sentence

  • For Pool 5 (out-of-state healthcare provider pool) the physician, healthcare provider or entity providing IME services must assure SWIF that the individual physician or health care provider possesses and maintains in good standing the appropriate licensure for the state in which the IME is being performed.

  • The physician or entity providing IME services shall provide verification of licensure upon SWIF’s request.

  • Each applicant must disclose and briefly describe all medical malpractice claims and verdicts entered against each physician and/or health care provider for a period of 10 years preceding the date of the application to provide IME services to SWIF.

  • Independent Medical Examination Services (“IME services”): In November 2006, Cambridge contracted with a third-party vendor, Coventry Health Care (“Coventry”), to provide IME services to claimants in West Virginia.

  • Please note, however, that inclusion in any or all of the IME pools does not provide assurance that a physician, healthcare provider or entity providing IME services will receive an appointment to any evaluation.

  • Physicians, healthcare providers and entities providing IME services may seek to provide IME services for one or more of the geographical regions or may seek to provide IME services statewide.

  • If specialized independent medical exam (IME) services are also to be provided by the Bidder, those services may also be included in a proposal.

  • The purpose of this IFB is to invite physicians, healthcare providers and entities providing IME services to submit Statements of Qualifications, in the form and manner described herein, for any or all of the above-described IME pools for which they believe the qualifications are met by the physician, healthcare provider or the entity providing IME services.

  • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.

Software Services exclude any services involving installation of a Product directly on any End User device to permit an End User to interact with the Product.

  • BPO Services means Provider’s business process outsourcing services described in the applicable Solution Exhibit, whereby Provider assumes responsibility for Customers’ business processes.

  • Hosting Services means the provision, administration, and maintenance of servers and related equipment, the provision of bandwidth at the hosting facility, and the operation of the Application for access by Customer Users to be provided by the relevant hosting service provider.

  • Free Services means the Subscription Service or other products or features made available by us to you on an unpaid trial or free basis.

  • Voice Services means the telecommunications services to be provided to you under Part A and as specified in your Application.

  • Storage Services means any Services which offer you storage capacity on the network for storage of content which you access from us.

  • Core Services means the services described in the Main Agreement that BNYM is obligated to perform for Company (for clarification: excluding the products and services provided pursuant to this Schedule C).

  • Respite services means a temporary period of relief and support for individuals and their families provided in a variety of settings. The intent is to provide a safe environment with staff assistance for individuals who lack an adequate support system to address current issues related to a disability. Respite may be provided for a defined period of time; respite is either planned or provided in response to a crisis.

  • Educational Services means educational training provided to Entitled Students at a School;

  • Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.

  • Broadband Services means Verizon's Fios or DSL-based Internet services (whichever applies). Verizon's DSL-based Internet service is also known as "High Speed Internet" ("HSI").

  • Homemaker services means the professionally directed or supervised simple household maintenance or management services provided by trained homemakers or individuals to families in their own homes.

  • Cemetery services means cremations, grave openings and closings, and installation of grave memorials.

  • Company Services means any services (including but not limited to technical and product support, technical advice, underwriting and customer services) supplied by the Company or its Affiliates in the specialty property and/or casualty insurance business.

  • General Services has the meaning ascribed to it in section "2.1" hereinbelow;

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.
