IMATU definition

IMATU means the Independent Municipal and Allied Trade Union.

Examples of IMATU in a sentence

  • A certificate signed by any manager of IMATU, whose status and appointment need not be proved, shall be prima facie proof of the amount owing by the Borrower to IMATU in terms of this agreement, for purposes of obtaining judgment, provisional sentence, summary judgment and/or any order judgment or relief sought against the Borrower.

  • The Borrower agrees that the loan advanced by IMATU to the Borrower shall be subject to the terms and conditions contained herein.

  • IMATU and the Borrower hereby choose the address stipulated in this agreement as the address for giving notices or serving any summons or for any other purpose in respect of this agreement.

  • The General Secretary or his/her nominee who shall be an employee of IMATU will have the right to recover the additional administration costs associated with drawing and issuing of cheques or alternative form of payment.

  • No representation by any official and/or employee of IMATU to the contrary will have any legal consequences and/or effect until such time as the loan application has been approved and signed by the General Secretary or his/her nominee who shall be an employee of IMATU.

  • Acceptance by IMATU of any payment made by the Borrower after termination of this agreement will not be a waiver of IMATU's rights in terms of this agreement, nor must it be regarded as a novation thereof, and IMATU's prior termination of this agreement will remain in full force notwithstanding such acceptance.

  • The acceptance of such payments by IMATU will not affect their claim of withdrawal or any other claim that IMATU may have.

  • Should the Borrower require the advancement of the approved amount by any other means then the General Secretary or his/her nominee who shall be an employee of IMATU may determine the alternative payment method in his/her sole discretion.

  • The Borrower shall, subject to the Act where applicable, pay to IMATU costs incurred by IMATU in enforcing this agreement and in particular, legal costs calculated on a scale as between attorney and client.

  • The decision of the General Secretary and/ or his/her nominee who shall be an employee of IMATU to approve and/ or decline such a loan will be final.
