ICT Agency definition

ICT Agency means the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka statutorily established with powers and functions under the Information and Communication Technology Act (No. 27 of 2003) and registered as a company under the Companies Act (No. 17 of 1982);

  • The ICT Agency shall carry on its operations and conduct its affairs in accordance with sound administrative and financial practices under the supervision of qualified and experienced management assisted by competent staff in adequate numbers.

  • Any action required or permitted to be taken, and any document required or permitted to be executed, under this Agreement on behalf of the ICT Agency, may be taken or executed by the Chief Executive Officer of the ICT Agency or such other person or persons as the Chief Executive Officer shall designate in writing, and the ICT Agency shall furnish to the Association sufficient evidence of the authority and the authenticated specimen signature of each such person.

  • The ICT Agency shall take out and maintain with responsible insurers, or make other provision satisfactory to the Association for, insurance against such risks and in such amounts as shall be consistent with appropriate practice.

  • The Borrower declares its commitment to the objectives of the Project as set forth in Schedule 2 to this Agreement and, to this end, shall cause the ICT Agency to carry out the Project with due diligence and efficiency and in conformity with appropriate administrative, financial, engineering, environmental practices, and shall provide, promptly as needed, the funds, facilities, services, and other resources required for the Project.

  • If the ICT Agency employs any procurement or inspection agents, it shall ensure that the requirements of Section 3.10 and 3.11 of the Procurement Guidelines are met.
