The partnership is in line with Prime Minister ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇’▇ ‘Make in India’ initiative and marks a momentous occasion for CARACAL and ICOMM, as the first-ever Transfer of Technology (ToT) in small arms from the UAE to India.
Under the agreement, ICOMM will partner with CARACAL in the development of a full portfolio of locally manufactured small arms for the Indian market.
Seller shall not assign the ICOMM Agreements along with the Assigned Contracts provided that Buyer and Seller agree that Buyer will enter into the Subcontractor Agreement with Seller to provide the services to ICOMM pursuant to the ICOMM Agreements on Seller’s behalf on the terms set out in the Subcontractor Agreement attached as Attachment E to this Agreement.
However, upon receipt of ICOMM’s consent to assign the ICOMM Agreements, and if the Buyer agrees to accept an assignment of the ICOMM Agreements, Seller shall assign its rights under the ICOMM Agreements and Buyer shall assume all obligations under the ICOMM Agreements and the Subcontractor Agreement shall terminate.
