The term "employee" as used in this Agreement shall refer to employees of the University of California in the HX unit, except for those excluded pursuant to Section B., above.

In the event of any failure of any Customer-owned HX NOC Equipment, HNS will replace the failed item with a redundant or spare component from the Customer’s spare inventory, and will repair the failed item on average within: thirty (30)days for HNS manufactured equipment and within forty five (45) days for equipment manufactured by a third party.
