Human Rights Law definition

Human Rights Law means the Human Rights (Jersey) Law 20006;
Human Rights Law means the New York State Human Rights Law, Article 15 of the New York State Executive Law, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, sex, marital status or disability in employment, housing, education, credit, and access to public accommodations.
Human Rights Law has the meaning given such term in Section 5.1(i) of the Agreement.

Examples of Human Rights Law in a sentence

  • To the extent required by Article 15 of the Executive Law (also known as the Human Rights Law) and all other State and Federal statutory and constitutional non-discrimination provisions, the Contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic predisposition or carrier status, or marital status.

  • To the extent required by Article 15 of the Executive Law (also known as the Human Rights Law) and all other State and Federal statutory and constitutional non-discrimination provisions, the Contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, sex (including gender identity or expression), national origin, sexual orientation, military status, age, disability, predisposing genetic characteristics, marital status or domestic violence victim status.

  • Contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Human Rights Law and all other State and federal statutory and constitutional non-discrimination provisions.

  • To the extent required by Article 15 of the Executive Law (also known as the Human Rights Law) and all other State and Federal statutory and constitutional non-discrimination provisions, the Contractor will comply with all non-discriminatory employment practices, will furnish all information deemed necessary by the Commissioner, and will permit the Commissioner access to its records to ascertain compliance.

  • Contractor and subcontractors shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed (religion), color, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, age, disability, predisposing genetic characteristic, marital status, or domestic violence victim status, and shall also follow the requirements of the Human Rights Law with regard to non-discrimination on the basis of prior criminal and conviction and prior arrest.

  • Every employer subject to the NYS Human Rights Law must conspicuously post at its offices, places of employment, or employment training centers, notices furnished by the State Division of Human Rights.
