HTRW definition

HTRW means hazardous, toxic, and radioactive wastes, which includes any material listed as a “hazardous substance” (42 U.S.C. 9601(14)) regulated under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (hereinafter “CERCLA”) (42 U.S.C. 9601-9675) and any other regulated material in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • The Contractor shall obtain the permits and licenses necessary to conduct work required by this Contract including, but not necessarily limited to, environmental permits, building permits, well permits where required by regulation, licensed drillers, licenses to purchase explosives, and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for the transport of MEC, MC, and HTRW on public highways.

  • Perform other MMRP, OMRS, and HTRW related work for foreign governments/agencies, where appropriately sponsored by DoD or other Federal Agency.

  • Provide MMRP, OMRS, and HTRW investigations, evaluations and response assistance on an as-needed basis to other DoD and Federal Agencies.
