Housing Pathways definition

Housing Pathways means the NSW Housing Register containing a single list of approved clients waiting for social housing. Interest Has the same meaning as expressed in section 14 of the Act, that is, a Housing Agency is taken to have an interest in land of a community housing provider in the following circumstances: (a) if the land was owned by the Housing Agency immediately before being vested in the community housing provider; or (b) if the land was transferred to the community housing provider in accordance with an instruction given under section 14 of the Act; or (c) if the land is acquired by the community housing provider wholly or partly with funding provided by the Housing Agency; or (d) if the Housing Agency constructs housing or makes other improvements on the land, (e) if a community housing agreement with the community housing provider identifies the land as being land in which the Housing Agency has an interest.
Housing Pathways means the common Social Housing application and assessment system, maintained under a partnership between FACS and community housing providers.

Examples of Housing Pathways in a sentence

  • The WHC may facilitate exit options from transitional tenancies through the usual application processes (i.e. Housing Pathways or direct application for Affordable Housing).

  • Where a suitable vacancy is not available, the WHC may assist the tenant to lodge a social housing application in accordance with Housing Pathways policies, and may work with other social housing providers to facilitate access to a suitable alternative property.

  • Addressing debts is an essential requirement for long term social housing through Housing Pathways.

  • This procedure is designed to ensure: • that all legal obligations are met prior to signing up a new tenant; • that all tenancy paperwork is prepared prior to the appointed time for the tenant to sign up a lease; • that internal client databases and systems are updated with the new information;; • all requirements under Housing Pathways are fulfilled by NCCH.

  • Applicants shall not have assets or property which could reasonably be expected to solve their housing situation, mirroring the Housing Pathways Eligibility for Social Housing Policy.
