Housing activity definition

Housing activity means housing rehabilitation, acquisition, demolition, and relocation activi- ties and new construction (as allowed by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 as amended, Section 105) directly related to the promotion or creation of safe, decent, sanitary, afford- able, single-family and multifamily housing units. Directly related eligible activities include: con- version costs, disposition, code enforcement planning, new construction (i.e., developer fees, archi- tectural and engineering fees), historic preservation, renovation, and architectural barrier removal.

Examples of Housing activity in a sentence

  • Reports will document the number of clients by income (30% area median income, 50% area median income, or 80% area median income as shown below), race (HOH only), and gender (HOH only) for the Fair Housing activity.

  • The County will organize a Fair Housing activity each year as required by DCED.
