Household Trash definition

Household Trash means accumulations of paper, magazines, packaging, containers, sweepings, and all other accumulations of a nature other than Garbage or Yard Waste, which are usual to housekeeping and to the operation of stores, offices and other places of business.
Household Trash means any and all accumulations of waste material from the operation of a home, which is not included within the definition of garbage. Household Trash shall include all bulky wastes, yard toys, and building material waste from residential type do-it- yourself projects (less than three cubic yards) as approved by City representatives but does not include vegetative matter; and abandoned and improperly placed dumps of the same. Multifamily Dwelling shall mean any building(s) containing more than two permanent living units such as but not limited to condominiums, townhouse complexes and apartment buildings, which utilize Multifamily Dwelling Container Units such as Grantee -provided dumpsters or garbage carts. Within the duration of this contract the City may modify this definition enabling a change of service type to better service the customer and the aesthetic quality of the property. The type, size and number of containers will be determined by the City Manager and/or his designated representative.
Household Trash means any and all accumulation of the material from the operation of a home, which is not included within the definition of garbage, except for those which are banned from direct disposal into a landfill. Household trash shall not include such things as automobile parts, tires and building material waste from residential type do-it-yourself projects.

Examples of Household Trash in a sentence

  • Special Handling Waste and waste generated by construction and remodeling of a residence is not considered Household Trash.

  • Solid Waste – shall mean Garbage, Household Trash and Horticultural Trash as defined herein.

  • Special Waste, furniture, Wh ite Goods, and construction material is not Household Trash.

  • The Contractor shall provide Garbage, Household Trash, residential recyclables collection, and Commercial Trash collection services within the Service Area, together with any other service contained in the bid documents and Contractor's successful bid.
