Hourly Rolling Equivalent Availability Factor (EAF) definition

Hourly Rolling Equivalent Availability Factor (EAF) means, with respect to a given hour, the quotient (expressed as a percentage) of (a) the number of hours, including the given hour and the immediately preceding 4,379 hours, in which the Synchronous Condenser Unit was Available, divided by (b) 4,380; provided that, to the extent that 4,379 hours have not elapsed since the Start Date (the difference between 4,379 and the hours that have elapsed being referred to herein as the “Assumed Hours”), the Synchronous Condenser Unit shall be deemed, for purposes of this calculation, to be Available for that Assumed Hour. A Force Majeure Event is treated the same as any other cause for unavailability for the purposes of calculating Hourly Rolling EAF.
