Hot Area definition

Hot Area means an area where land use or activities generate highly contaminated runoff, with concentrations of pollutants in excess of those typically found in stormwater. Examples might include operations producing concrete or asphalt, auto repair shops, auto supply shops, large commercial parking areas, gas fueling stations and restaurants.

  • At the conclusion of toxic training, the Contractor shall decontaminate and clean the toxic area and recover training equipment IAW CDTF SOP C1 Hot Area Recovery.

  • In accordance with CDTF TST Work Instructions Tab C Set-Up of Hot Area and Tab E Bleach Operations, the Contractor shall procure and restock the hot area with all decontaminants, expendable supplies and tools, and durable equipment needed in support of toxic area training and maintenance.

Related to Hot Area

  • Lot area means the total horizontal area within the lot lines of a lot.

  • Carpet Area means the net usable floor area of the Unit including the area covered by the internal partition walls of the Unit but shall exclude the area covered by external walls, areas under service shafts, exclusive balcony/verandah/open terrace area.
