Horizontal Activities definition

Horizontal Activities means the facilitating activities of industry, R&D institutes and public authorities including, but not limited to, standardisation, innovation eco-systems, policy issues, legislation, security and privacy;

Examples of Horizontal Activities in a sentence

  • A) Horizontal Activities: a) Institutional Coordination and Social Participation (more in Section 2.6.1); b) Environmental Information and Education (more in Section 3.1.2); and c) Training and Capacity Building (more in Section 3.1.3).

  • For each intended Joint Procurement under RIS COMEX Activity 3 (Corridor RIS Implementation) and Activity 4 (Corridor RIS Sustainability) and Activity 5 (Horizontal Activities), a specific Joint Procurement Agreement shall be set up in accordance with the provisions of this General Joint Procurement Agreement.

Related to Horizontal Activities

  • Environmental Activities means the use, generation, transportation, handling, discharge, production, treatment, storage, release or disposal of any Hazardous Materials at any time to or from any portion of the Premises or located on or present on or under any portion of the Premises.

  • Permitted Activities The primary activities of the trust created pursuant to this Agreement which shall be:

  • Instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) means routine activities performed around the home or in the community and includes the following:

  • Motor Sport Activities means any motor sport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which CAMS regulates or administers by CAMS or otherwise under the responsibility / control of CAMS;

  • Environmental Activity means any activity, event or circumstance in respect of a Contaminant, including, without limitation, its storage, use, holding, collection, purchase, accumulation, assessment, generation, manufacture, construction, processing, treatment, stabilization, disposition, handling or transportation, or its Release into the natural environment, including movement through or in the air, soil, surface water or groundwater;
