HOPE for Homeowners Program definition

HOPE for Homeowners Program means the HUD sponsored program described in HUD's Mortgagee Letter 2009-43. Laws means all federal, state, county, local and foreign laws, regulations, licensing requirements, ordinances, codes, rules, and orders that may be applicable to Customer’s business and ability to perform its obligations hereunder, all as may be amended or supplemented from time to time. MERS means, collectively, MERSCORP, Inc. and Mortgage Electronic Registration System, Inc., their successors and assigns.

  • Amounts collected under the HOPE for Homeowners Program in accordance with sub- sections (i) and (k) in excess of the net cost to the Federal Government for such Program shall be used to reduce the National debt.

  • The Board shall advise the Secretary regard- ing the establishment and implementation of the HOPE for Homeowners Program.

  • If the net cost to the Federal Government for the HOPE for Homeowners Program ex- ceeds the amount of funds received under paragraph (2), remaining debts of the HOPE for Homeowners Program shall be paid from amounts deposited into the fund established by the Secretary under section 4567(e) of this title, remaining amounts in such fund to be used to reduce the National debt.

  • The term ‘‘Board’’ means the Advisory Board for the HOPE for Homeowners Program.
