Holidex definition

Holidex is the current trade name for the reservations system established and operated by BHR, which provides a nationwide service through which persons may call a toll-free number to reserve lodging at any Holiday Inn hotel.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if HII requires new equipment or operating systems (Novell, DOS or Unix) at Hotels as a result of such modification to Holidex, Vendor shall not be responsible for the cost of such additional equipment.

  • Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, software upgrades and enhancements custom developed for HII shall be the property of Vendor but shall become a part of the System Software and shall be licensed to the Hotels and Affiliates pursuant to the Site License to be used exclusively with Holidex at Hotels and Affiliates, and Vendor will not license or otherwise distribute such software upgrades and enhancements to any other party.

  • In consideration of the terms of this Agreement, the United States agrees to refrain from filing a civil lawsuit or pursuing any other civil or criminal remedies in this matter, based upon any complaint received by it on or before the effective date of this Agreement relating to reservations of Holidex policies or procedures, unless BHR materially fails to comply with this Agreement as described in Paragraph 43, below.

  • The Site License shall grant any and all appropriate rights to use software created, licensed or owned by third parties, other than DOS, UNIX or other operating systems, compilers other than DB/C, Novell or other LAN software or Holidex, that is necessary for the use of System Software.
