Hoax device definition

Hoax device or “replica” means a device or object which has the appearance of a destructive device.
Hoax device means any device that reasonably appears to be or is purported to be an explosive or incendiary device and is in- tended to cause alarm or reaction of any type by an official of a public safety agency or a volun- teer agency organized to deal with emergencies.
Hoax device means any device so de- signed, assembled, fabricated or manufactured as to convey the physical appearance of an ex- plosive or incendiary bomb or the physical ap- pearance of any of the devices enumerated in subdivisions (A)-(F) of division (1) of this section which is lacking an explosive or incendiary charge.
