Highmark definition

Highmark shall have the meaning assigned to such term in the preamble to this Agreement.
Highmark means Highmark Inc., the domestic nonprofit corporation incorporated on December 6, 1996, with a registered office at Fifth Avenue Place, 120 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15222. Unless otherwise specified, all references to Highmark include Highmark Health and all of its controlled nonprofit and for-profit subsidiaries, partnerships, trusts, foundations, associations or other entities, including entities for which it manages provider contracting, however styled.
Highmark means Highmark Inc., a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation licensed to operate a hospital plan and a professional health services plan and its successors and assigns.

  • PREMIERBLUE SHIELD PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL PROVIDER NETWORK - all PremierBlue Shield Preferred Professional Providers approved as a network by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, who have an agreement, either directly or indirectly, with the Plan or Highmark Blue Shield to provide health care Services to Members.

  • Any reference to Highmark Blue Shield may also include its designated agents with whom Highmark Blue Shield has contracted to perform a function or service.

  • Highmark shall retain title to all logon ID(s) and password(s), and reserves the right to change any logon ID or password at any time, for any reason, or if required to do so by law, regulation, or court order.

  • The goals of the Program are to provide a safe environment for grieving children to express their grief and reach children who cannot access the services available at the Highmark Caring Place facilities.

  • If a breach of this provision occurs, Company must notify Highmark immediately as set forth in the Guide.

  • The University provides vision coverage through Highmark when an eligible faculty member elects to participate in any University health insurance plan.

  • The Parties will not enter into any Trading Partner Agreement related to this Agreement that: changes any definition, data condition or use of a data element or segment, nor adds any data elements or segments to the maximum defined data set as proscribed in the HHS Transaction Standard Regulation, and as further proscribed by Highmark.

  • If a breach of this provision occurs, Provider must notify Highmark immediately as set forth in the Guide.
