The determination of the applicable LIP Stage shall be made using the High Rock Reservoir water elevation as of midnight between the last day of the previous month and the first day of the current month in combination with the U.S. Drought Monitor Three- Month Numeric Average and the Stream Gage Three-Month Rolling Average Flow to determine the need to declare or change a Stage of the LIP.
The Plan shall also include provisions for conducting two studies as part of the overall DO enhancement schedule (Table WQ-1) designed specifically to investigate the effectiveness of aeration technology installed and operating at Narrows on the DO conditions in the Narrows and Falls tailwaters, and the effectiveness of aeration technology installed and operating at High Rock on DO conditions in the High Rock and Tuckertown tailwaters.
The Licensee will develop a new public recreation site with a swimming area and beach on the Rowan County side of High Rock Reservoir.
