High Island definition

High Island. High Island Offshore System, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company.
High Island means an area above the PMF that is surrounded on its entire perimeter during a PMF event. A high island can either be a natural landform such as a high ridge (local examples are Terranora, Bilambil Heights and Hospital Hill in Murwillumbah); or can be created by raised dwellings, fill pads and upper storey refuges.

The notice of cancellation must be in writing to You at Your last known address and contain all of the following: (1) the Agreement number, (2) the date of notice, (3) the effective date of the cancellation and, (4) a detailed explanation of the reason for cancellation. ARBITRATION section is amended to include the following: Any matter in dispute between You and Us may be subject to arbitration as an alternative to court action pursuant to the rules of (the American Arbitration Association or other recognized arbitrator), a copy of which is available on request from Us. Any decision reached by arbitration shall be binding upon both You and Us. The arbitration award may include attorney's fees if allowed by state law and may be entered as a judgment in any court of proper jurisdiction.

  • Bermuda means the Islands of Bermuda;

  • Mauritius means the Republic of Mauritius and includes: (i) all the territories and islands which, in accordance with the laws of Mauritius, constitute the State of Mauritius; (ii) the territorial sea of Mauritius; and (iii) any area outside the territorial sea of Mauritius which in accordance with international law has been or may hereafter be designated, under the laws of Mauritius, as an area, including the Continental Shelf, within which the rights of Mauritius with respect to the sea, the sea-bed and sub-soil and their natural resources may be exercised;
