HEC Services definition

HEC Services means the following Cloud Services provided by SAP under an Order Form and further described in the Agreement: SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, BYOL model (“HEC BYOL”); SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, subscription model (“HEC Subscription”); and SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, Advanced Edition Services model.
HEC Services means the following Cloud Services agreed under an Order Form and further described in the Agreement: HANA Enterprise Cloud for Production (“HEC Production”), HANA Enterprise Cloud for Projects (“HEC Projects”), HANA Enterprise Cloud for Production with Subscription Software (“HEC Subscription”), and SAP S/4HANA, cloud enterprise edition, private option, (“S/4HANA Private”).
HEC Services means HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) services for productive purpose (HEC Production Cloud) or for a project phase (HEC Cloud Start) and/or Application Management Services (AMS) for HANA Enterprise Cloud Applications, which Customer has purchased pursuant to a Scope Document and Order Form. The HEC Production Cloud Services can be based on a BYOL (Bring Your Own License) approach or by using Subscription Software; that means there are two options: HEC Production Cloud (BYOL) or HEC Production Cloud with Subscription Software. Any services not included in the HEC Roles and Responsibilities document shall be deemed out of scope for the HEC Services. HEC Services shall be understood to be included in the definition of “Services” and “Cloud Services” as those terms are used in the Agreement.

Examples of HEC Services in a sentence

  • As part of the HEC Services, SAP will (i) provide the initial installation of the Subscription Software and/or Licensed Software, as applicable, in the Computing Environment, (ii) setup and configure relevant hardware/ software and monitoring/managing tools for the Computing Environment and Customer Systems, and (iii) introduce Customer to SAP’s support and communications procedures.

  • Each party will nominate a representative who will be the other party's prime point of contact with respect to the performance of the HEC Services.

  • Customer shall not have any right or entitlement to possess any copy of the Subscription Software for installation anywhere other than the Computing Environment, or for archival or disaster recovery purposes, except to the extent expressly set forth otherwise in the applicable Order Form for HEC Services.

  • Support: HEC Services do not include support or maintenance for the Hosted Software.

  • CIF services is an optional service available only for HEC Services which can be agreed between SAP and Customer for certain components as set forth in the System Set-Up Table of the HEC Order Form in addition to DR Services (DR Services is a pre-requisite for CIF services).

Any services not included in the HEC Roles and Responsibilities document shall be deemed as out of scope for the HEC Services.
