HAWB definition

HAWB means the Company’s house air waybill which is completed prior to the collection or acceptance of delivery of goods for transport;

  • Parties shall inform each other by pre-advice per fax or by way agreed on with full detail of any forwarded shipment such as number B/L / HAWB/ MAWB, number of pieces, gross and net weight, terms of delivery, name of final consignee and any further information needed by the receiving party to exercise customs clearance and delivery of the respective shipment(s).

  • Vendor is solely responsible to ensure reaching of aforesaid non-negotiable documents, at least [***] (except for the Certificate of Origin, HAWB and freight forwarder’s Receipt) in advance of the anticipated landing of goods in India.

  • This pre-alert shall contain at least the following information: Sending agent’s reference number, MAWB or B/L number, HAWB or TB/L, shipping date, flight number, total number of pieces, weight, shipper’s and consignee’s name, port of departure, port of arrival, ETD and ETA.

  • The related invoices, B/L copies, HAWB, Manifest and other pertinent documents should be sent together with S/A if necessary.

  • In both ocean & air shipment, receiving party is strictly requested full responsibility to release original or valid document and/or its amendment to the right consignee as shown on MAWB, HAWB or MB/L, HB/L.

  • You agree that if you send more than one package on a shipment using a single invoice number or HAWB number or airway bill number or Bill of lading number, the declared value for carriage of each package will be determined by dividing the total declared value for carriage by the number of packages in the shipment.

  • The contractor shall coordinate with the foreign suppliers and receive the cargo; on receipt of cargo the contractor shall send PRE-ALERT indicating the BHEL Purchase Order No., HAWB No. & MAWB No., Port of Loading, No of pkgs., weight and flight details immediately after receipt of the cargo at the port of origin.

  • To ensure description/ Marking in HAWB, Packing list, consignment case are identical to MAWB and consolidation Manifest attached with MAWB to avoid Amendment.

  • To prepare HAWB separately for each consignment with Marking as per Order requirement (ensuring Prompt Custom Clearance) and handover copy of HAWB to GRSE’s supplier.

  • For international transportation by both road and air: RPX’s liability as carrier shall be subject to its HAWB terms and conditions.
