Halting Allowance definition

Halting Allowance means an allowance granted to a person to meet the cost of lodging and boarding and other incidental expenditure necessitated at the place of halt. The halting allowance shall be admissible at the rates subject to the conditions mentioned in Table B.

Related to Halting Allowance

  • training allowance means an allowance (whether by way of periodical grants or otherwise) payable—

  • disability living allowance means a disability living allowance under section 71 of the SSCBA;

  • NOx Allowance means an authorization to emit a specified amount of NOx that is allocated or issued under an emissions trading or marketable permit program of any kind that has been established under the Clean Air Act or a state implementation plan.

  • Retirement allowance means the retirement payments to which a member is entitled.

  • Preferred Allowance means the amount a Preferred Provider will accept as payment in full for Covered Medical Expenses.
