Half-Mast definition

Half-Mast means lowering the flag to one-half the distance between the top and bottom of the staff;
Half-Mast means the position of a flag being flown approximately halfway down a flagpole, as a symbol of respect, commemoration or collective mourning;
Half-Mast means the position of the flag when flying at half-mast will depend on its size, the length of the mast and its location; but, as a general rule, the centre of the Flag should be half way down the mast.
