Hacker means a person or persons who maliciously gains unauthorised access to the Insured’s Computer System and/or Website via the internet or any other external electronic link or other devices such as USBs, laptops or Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) solely by electronically circumventing the Insured’s information technology security systems.
Hacker means anyone who specifically and maliciously targets the Insured and gains access via the internet or other external electronic link to the Insured’s website, intranet, network, computing systems or data the Insured holds electronically, solely by circumventing electronically the security systems in place to protect against such unauthorised access. A Hacker does not include any director or partner of the Insured, or any person (other than an employee of the Insured) who while on the Insured’s premises directly gains access to the Insured’s computer system.
Hacker means anyone who specifically and maliciously targets the insured and gains unauthorised access to information and communication assets by circumventing electronically or otherwise the security system in place to protect against such unauthorised access.
