H.264 definition

H.264 means Advanced Video Coding, a video compression standard based on block-oriented, motion-compensated coding.
H.264 means a block-oriented motion-compensation-based video compression standard that is currently one of the most commonly used formats for the recording, compression, and distribution of video content;

  • Each video stream identifies its particular media configuration options via use of inband H.264 parameter sets (SPS/PPS).
