Guest Home definition
Guest Home means a Single‐Detached Residential dwelling unit, a unit in a Duplex Residential dwelling or a dwelling unit in a Multi‐Unit Residential dwelling where such dwelling is used in its entirety as one dwelling for Short‐Term Rental. If it is the sole dwelling unit on the property, may not be advertised as available for rent for more than 182 days per year. Please note a strata unit is considered a property by itself.
Guest Home means a room within a dwelling, offered for short-term rental intended primarily for overnight occupation.
Guest Home means a dwelling unit used in its entirety for Short-term Rental Accommodation.

Note that although the SSI/SSA rate payments will commence from the date the client is admitted to Monterey Bay Guest Home, the Board & Care Service daily patch rate will be paid from the date of approval for placement, with the expectation that COUNTY will coordinate with CONTRACTOR to make the admission process as seamless as possible, so as to avoid holding beds that ultimately aren’t filled, or paying for an inordinately long time while a client is being transferred from another facility.
